My computer starts again & again

Hello,
Recently my computer's motherboard got failed, & i want my data of my hardisc to be recovered by using it with another pc.But when i tried to do this the PC restarts again & again.

In my hardisk i am using win 7 64 bit ultimate version.

What should i do to recover my data of my old harddisk.Please help.

Are you trying to boot the other PC with your drive? Don't. Add it in as a secondary drive to the system.

PC 1 - motherboard failed. want to recover data from HDD 1
PC 2 - working fine as it is.

Which is your case?

1. Hooked up HDD 1 to PC 2 as second HDD, but now PC 2 starts itself again and again
or
2. HDD 1 is connected to PC 2 as a system boot, and PC 2 starts itself again and again

If your PC 2 has its own HDD (let's call it HDD 2), connect HDD 1 as second storage, but not as a booting disk. Leave HDD 2 as booting.
