My computer stops responding every 5-20 mins

This has only been an issue for the past 2 days now. Sometimes every 5-20 mins my computer will not respond and I am unable to close my browser, open Skype etc. This has only been happening recently, but it is especially annoying when trying to watch youtube videos or netflix and the whole thing just doesn't respond.

Has this happened to anyone before? Is there a solution?

Recommend going back to an earlier system state. Pick a time before the problems started. If your problem is caused by a software conflict, this should fix it.
