My computer thinks the CTRL key is being pressed

when i am in the middle of typing in word, sometimes my computer thinks the control key is stuck, and then everything gets lost

what should i do

Windows sometimes losses track of which keys are up and down. If the control key seems stuck, then press and release each control key one at a time.
