My computer turns on for a couple seconds then turns back off

So I just built my new desktop and when I plugged it in to check it, it turned on, the cpu fan started going, no other fan in the case started spinning, the LEDs on my graphics card lit up, and then the computer turned off. And it kept doing this over and over again until I turned off the power supply.

I don't have an extra cpu to see if mine is faulty, and I don't have a way to check if the power module is messed up.

If you have any ideas of what I can do to try and fix this, I'm all ears.

Thanks.

Ok, update, I plugged in some cords that seemed loose to me, it now turns on and stays on with all the fans working. However, it isn't showing anything on my monitor, no display.

Actually, I figured out the problem, I just had the hdmi cord plugged into the wrong port. I had it plugged into the motherboard, not the gpu. It's all fixed now, the computer is running and installing Windows.
