My computer was on and some one switched the electric after while my computer does not coming desktop, when I connected another computer as slave my hard disk shows 0 bytes then I used SATA IDE Cable there is message box saying "are you want to format" I clicked cancel so what to do else

What is a sata IDE cable ?

Sata HDD needs power from psu and data cable from motherboard

Bios should detect HDD and report size
Device manager should report make and model

If not found by. Bios HDD may have failed
If corrupted by power off
Chkdsk may fix problem

WD data lifeguard for windows can test HDD for hardware errors
