[SOLVED] My computer will not connect to router

I have a hitron CODA-4582. My SSID is Mainecoon’s Rock. All my phones, iPads and other computer see it correctly and will hook up.

my hp computer With windows 7 pro and an intel ac card will not see it correctly, it shows as Mainecoon@s Rocks and i can not hook up with this one? Other computers in house are windows 10 or iOS. Also if I turn on guess account I can hook up to that One.

just wondering if it the wireless card or windows 7

Try using a virtual machine on that machine and run windows 10. That will prove if its the wifi card or the OS.

Make a USB boot media from Microsoft website for Windows 10. Lots of youtube tutorials.

It seems that the apostrophe is what is causing difficulty for your HP computer. Just give your SSID a new name without the apostrophe.

I was thinking the same thing but your allowed to have illegal characters in SSID. But maybe windows 7 doesn’t like it?
