My computer won’t start. PLEASE HELP!

Honestly I have no idea what happened, I got tired after playing some games so I went to lie down on my bed then about 30 minutes later my fans start going to 100% rpm speed and then my computer screens went black so I turn it off by holding the power button but now it won’t turn on at all. Please help me.

Did you try the switch on the PSU (or unplugging from the wall for a minute). If its locked up in a sleep state that will clear it. Then try to turn it on again.

100 fan speed may be you power supply lost a leg and the system gpu fan default to post settings.

I’ve tried unplugging the PSU and it did not work sadly 🙁. What do you mean by “my psu may of lost a leg”? Do you mean it’s broken?

Yes, sure sounds like the PSU took a crap to me too.

Next step, get a short piece of wire, or a paperclip. Open your case and unplug the main 24 pin PSU cable from the motherboard. Jump out the green wire with the adjacent black wire, then plug in the PSU and turn it on. see if it turns on.

Sadly my PSU kicked the bucket 🙁 . Honestly have no idea how it happened.
