My computer won't boot after installing Corsair h80i v2

I replaced my heatsink with a Corsair h80i v2 and now my computer won't boot. The LED for the graphics card and h80i light up for a second the fan spins then everything dies. This same process repeats about ten seconds later like it's trying to start again but dies. What could I have done?

Could have done a lot of bad things but first check if pump, fans and USB connectors are plugged in right, Some MBs will not start if they don't detect CPU cooling fans are working.

If it will boot with your old heatsink, then I agree with the Count. It could well be a fan sensor issue. What is your motherboard.
