-msi h81m-p33 micro atx mobo
My ram and hdd i salvage from my gateway comp
Whenever i tun on my comouter everything is running the led, the fans. Its newly built and i need help figuring out why its not displaying?

Would need more information. Does the computer turn off after a certain period of time or will the fans continue to run until you power it down?

Also check these things:

Reseat graphics card and memory sticks. Did that fix it ?

If not..

Test monitor and cable to rule them out.

If not..

Check all cables, cords and plugs to make sure everything is in tight.

If not..

Did you use brass standoffs? On my first build I didn't use standoffs beneath the motherboard and it caused the same issue you are experiencing due to a short of the MOBO.

If not..

Verify that your RAM sticks are DDR3 1066/1333/1600 MHz (others might not work with your mobo)

Make sure that your PSU is capable of handling those parts by adding up the wattage stated on manufacturer website for each part. (Probably OK, but GPU is 400 minimum recommended according to NVIDIA)

If not..

Is the fan spinning on your graphics card? Did you plug in the extra power connector required for your graphics card? Think it is an 8 pin PCI-E ATX connector. Did that fix it?

If not..

Does your computer beep at you when it starts? If it does check your MOBO manual for what the beeps mean or get yourself a POST card.

If not..

Try all of that and get back to us with more info about the symptoms, vice versa.
