My computer won't output anything

I just built my computer brand new 20 minutes ago and I plugged in my hdmi to the graphics card from the TV, turned it on and my computer turned on but nothing was output

I plugged in my old vga monitor into the motherboard and that did nothing as well

I5 4460
Msi h81p-133
Gtx 960 oc
And a evga 500 watt power supply

Never mind guys I took my graphics card out and put it in again and it worked
