My computer won't recognize it's monitor?

Well I have a 32" tv that I used in my old pc for a monitor, but not with my new rig and my 1070, it doesn't automatically find it. I have an older monitor I've been using so I am able to get into my computer and use it but I'd like my big screen if anyone knows how I can go into my pc on one monitor and make it so It will automatically detect my tv I'd be very grateful!

HDMI, and the OS Windows 10

hummmm duel monitor to finger it out ? maybe hook the old display to dvi and the tv to hdmi. and assuming you have the u to date drivers ?_? also what model tv?

the solution to your problem is a problem LOL it should 100% not matter with end is witch but good on you for solving it lol
