Question my computer won't start

After i pressed power button today....fans moved for sometime and stopped and monitor did not receive any video signals and if i go on pressing the power button again then nothing happens.

led on the motherboard was glowing. i have an ASUS motherboard, i tried replacing SMPS but of no use. I checked all the connection and it seemed proper.

what could possibly be the issue anyone help?
Motherboard: ASUS P8H61-M PLUS 2
processor: intel core i3 2nd generation
SMPS: CIRCLE CPH 693
RAM: Corsair 8gb
no graphics card!

i replaced it but didn't help...
