My computer wont turn on with Video card in it

After running in my computer just fine for about 45 days my MSI 7950 card just died, or it appears to have, i thought it was a power supply issue but i went out and replaced that and had the same problem, when the video card was plugged in my computer wouldnt even turn on(no fans, nothing) ive since gotten another card that i had sitting around, that works mostly fine(aside from minor artifacts, that appear to have been caused by the card being slightly bent) but if there is the chance that my other card isnt dead id appreciate the help in diagnosing that, or what might be wrong with my other card, since im fairly certain its not in fact physical damage to the card, im pretty sure it wouldnt work at all then, thank you

You should have a warranty on your 7950, I'd get a RMA on the video card.

The 7950 does have the warranty, im in the process of doing that, but i was hoping that it might be something that i missed and that i wouldn't have to go through the RMA process which I've seen apparently takes MSI about a month or more to do
