Question My computer's CPU is overheating ?

i build new pc, this spec:

mobo msi b550 gaming plus
procc ryzen 7 5800x
ddr corsair 2x8gb 3200mhz
vga msi rtx 3050 ventus 2x
cooler msi aio c240

i have problem my computer in idle cpu core tem 50-62c , cpu socket tem 45c , when play game steam cpu core tem 70-85c, cpu socket temp 60-65c,gpu usage 80%-90%
when i restart show notice CPU OVER HEAT

what problem in my pc? how to solved this issues?

You installed the radiator in the roof of the case? It should be moved.
The pump is built into the radiator on that model. While the unit is off, the air settles at the top of the loop(where the pump is), and the fluid settles around the bottom.
When you turn the PC on, you run the pump dry(bad); the priming phase is made more difficult. In those brief moments before the fluid finally gets going around and around, it's just sitting there, getting hot, then you get the temporary temperature warning.

Front, but it hardly matters. That case is too much form over function. It's a hotbox.
You CAN choke AIOs too; the radiator needs air moving through it to do its job.

ok i solved cpu core temp with disable core boost on bios setting, but gpu usage 90% when play game, this normal?
Well... yes, since you disabled a good chunk of where a cpu's performance comes from.
What you did isn't ideal, but I guess running at base clock is sufficient for whatever this game is...


A new case should definitely be at the top of your list to do - one that doesn't place too much emphasis on form.
The AIO rad should be at the front as well... so a case with a meshed front panel. Find a case that still fits your tastes and meets that suggestion.

My 36 has been mounted on the top for over a year cooling a 5950x. Runs like a champ.

ok but i just use for play game steam, i dont understand about fungsional for core boost. if i set to auto cpu core boost always over heat when i play game. but idle is normal.

There are 3 different locations for pumps in AIOs, and they affect which installations are viable.
1)Pump head or cpu block: front, top, and rear are ok. Bottom is bad, for the most part.
2)Radiator: front and rear are ok. Top and bottom, not.
3)In-line or the hoses: Pretty much the same as number 1.
OP's MAG C240 is the 2nd one. Corsair just has models consisting of the first one.

i try move radiator to front but same
now i try enable core boost then eco i set to 65w , i got cpu core temp 70-80c when play game its normal

It's not the cause of your overheating, but this PSU is one of the worst of the worst, and it's not a good sign to see it actually being used in modern hardware; the only only thing it ought to be connected to is the conveyer belt of a recycling center.

Same what?
Your case's front panel is an airflow choke point. Did you at least remove it during testing?

When you moved it to the front, did you flip the fans to intake air? I have seen pics of roof mounted AIOs moved to the front, but the fans were not flipped around, so they're still trying to exhaust air instead of drawing it in.

Please understand that there is no default 'normal'; everyone with a 5800X, or other specific cpu, isn't going to get the same low and high load thermals due to numerous factors, some of which users don't have control over.
It's either within spec, or it isn't. Yours is still considered within spec.
