My computor has arrived! tips for building?

Hi hi!
So, my computor has arrived, not very excited.. (sarcasm)
i would like some imput and tips for installing all of its components?
eg, put cpu in mobo before i place mobo in case? that is just an example not sure if i should do that or not, i have built one brfore but that was two years ago?

funny fact! i rang my dad for tips lol... im 26 btw and live with my missus!
but he said build it naked to avoid static haha, i think he was taking the piss outa me!
