Hi everyone,
I'm in the middle of building a new PC here with all the parts right next to me. However, I'm having a hiccup where the mounting bracket isn't lining up with the holes in the motherboard. (It's close, but far enough that something is fishy), so I thought something must be wrong with my part choices. Every article I've read says that coolers supporting LGA115x sockets also support LGA1200 socket since the mounting hardware is identical.

The cooler I'm using is the Corsair H60 (2018). The motherboard is the MSI MPG Z490 GAMING EDGE WIFI ATX LGA1200 Motherboard. These parts ARE compatible, no? Am I doing something wrong?

Unless there's a remote chance that the H60 Newegg sent me is an older model. Even then, older models still supported LGA 1150 so it should work with LGA1200. Can anyone explain why my cooler isn't fitting? :/ Thanks...
