My corvette experience

Tried the corvette solo last night - looked in the droid, the closet other
loot places and never found an AV-21 power plant. I did get 4 pretty
useless loot items and
for the first time ever, my HAM is all but wounds. Spent an hour going up
and going down and waiting for the incap time to pass. I thought going
Neutral with 2000 Corsec points would be easier and that I could walk thru
without even firing a
shot - that wasn't the case. So much for my buff, expensive brandy and my
composite will
cost a fortune to repair.

A friend has given me schematic for free - I only need the power plant.
I can't afford to buy a power plant as they are asking
way too much (a million and sometimes more). I think people are also
hoarding/holding onto these
to keep the prices up as others are learning how to successfully complete
this quest (to get the schematic) and also find the AV-21 loot item. I also
have a friend who's been on the
corvette 4 times - never completed it successuflly and never found the power
planet either. Any help here
would be nice.

I managed to get my power plant last night =) It was my fifth trip up,
and first one solo (not intended to complete the mission, just to find
the power plant). Mine was in the Armory.

As I was hopping in the escape pod, my friend that I went up with the
previous four times was taking a ride up to the Corvette for her first
solo excursion. She was also looking for the power plant (since we both
have two schematics from completing it... I gave one of mine away to
somebody in the Kor Vella starport who was asking us about our Rebel
shirts and how hard the mission was and such). It was her fifth trip
up, and no power plant yet 🙁

So far, we have managed to get four Rebel shirts (these things are
really spiffy looking), two Marine Armor Chestplates, a ton of broken
junk like micro binoculars, and Giggledust. Every trip up there we have
gotten Giggledust, and last night I think I found out why. It was the
Devs laughing at us for making the power plant so hard to get 😛 I told
that to my friend, and the next Armoire happened to have the power
plant... timing is everything

I felt bad getting one and she didn't, because she guided me through
where all the loot spots were (I only knew of one of them, and the
general direction of the other three). Since she has to do the homework
she's been avoiding all this week, I plan on going back up until I
manage to get her one.

Keep trying, there is one up there waiting for you.

I got another after the trip I described above, it was in the Armory
also. Two in two trips, but none in the two since. Oh well... I only
have about seven more friends to supply to 😛
