Hey guys,

I've recently built a new gaming PC with pretty decent parts, however, for some games such as GTA or BF1/BF5, I can barely get 60 FPS during explosions or actions

Specs:

CPU: Intel Core i7 7700T @ 2.90GHz

GPU: GTX 1070 ZOTAC

RAM: 8 GB DDR4 @ 1200mhz

MOTHERBOARD: Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. H110-D3A-CF

Was wondering if you can help... thanks!

My guess is 8gb RAM. Are you seeing very high HDD/SSD drive usage while in game caused by caching to the drive. Both of those games are best run with 16gb.

Also what is your cpu usage in game, check all cores and not just total usage. When the FPS drops occur do you see a spike in cpu and drive usage?

Hey guys, thanks for replying. I've done of what you both have asked for and I've enabled Turbo Boost for my CPU for that extra power advantage, nothing changed.
I also checked my CPU usage and it sits at around 60% whilst my memory is usually at 80-90%.
