I don't have any idea how my g4560 has bent. I just discovered it while taking out the CPU from the motherboard, as I took it out I was surprised to see it bent. I have taken it out many times before but it was never bent like this. I don't know how this happened. But now the main question is WILL IT WORK? AND WILL IT DAMAGE MY MOTHERBOARD IF I TRY TO PUT IT BACK INTO THE MOTHERBOARD?
Also have a look at the pics of the CPU now.

That CPU is a goner. I guessing you took your CPU out because your computer wasnt working?! I mean how could it with it in that shape?! Time for a tech field trip.

But my question is that how this happened? It was working fine. Now I m afraid to test it as it may damage the motherboard. I seriously don't think I have got the luck to game. I was about to buy a graphics card but after all this I think I will have to cancel the plan.
I have been surviving with Intel HD graphics since last 5 years. Why am I so unlucky?!

I believe that issue was people over tightening heatsinks with tools and bending the heat spreader.
You can try bend the corners back without cracking them if you want.
What do you have to lose 😉 As long as the pins still contact (and dont short) you're fine. Bent a few friend's ones back...

If not back to the store for another, just check your motherboard pins weren't bent as well.

I always read Intel sockets were delicate but this is a first.

I guess this shows why you shouldn't try fixin' it if it ain't broke.

There are reports all over the internet of Skylake processors bending, because that's when Intel switched to a thinner PCB. Your Kaby Lake processor also has the thin board so bending is actually normal when used with some heatsinks that apply considerable pressure. If it stops working, it's covered by the warranty.

I am more concerned about how you have "taken it out many times," especially considering the processor package is only rated for 20 insertions, and the socket only for 15 insertions. While it can often survive more use than this, it's only guaranteed to last that long, because unlike pins, the springy contacts bend with each insertion. Copper work hardens when flexed so will eventually no longer spring back or will crack off.

Thanks a lot for this information. I really didn't know that there's a limit to this, I haven't taken it out more than 5-6 times though. I just said that cuz I wanted you all to know that it's not something which I haven't ever done before. I wanted to say I know how it works and I haven't done something that wrong.
And btw I tried out a bit of gaming and everything seemed fine, the temps were normal(55-60°C) and also the performance seemed to be normal. Any other tests which u would recommend me to do?

Hey guys i m gettings another sort of an problem now. I m getting this message every 30 mins or 2 hours "Your pc ran into a problem and needs to restart" First the error was Critical Structure Corruption, I got it fixed by reading a few tutorials and then i got another error "Kmode Exception Not handled". I even got that fixed. And somehow now i have another error "System Service Exception".

Now this is really irritating i cant just go through a tutorial every time i get a error. Any chance that this issue is created due to the Bending of the CPU? And also do i have an permanent fix for this issue?

Actually I installed Intel CPU diagnostic tool and tested my cpu. It passed all the tests perfectly as it should have done. Btw I had recently done a clean windows 10 install on the hard disk. Like before 4 days I guess. I m using a Pirated one though.

Taking out CPUs can sometimes cause issues with Microsoft's license. Since you reinstalled it recently, you shouldn't have too many things installed. You might wanna test with the latest version from a verified source. You might wanna upgrade to a 60+GB SSD boot drive too.

Also, downloading windows doesn't make it a pirated/illegal version, cracking it does.

You should try using a genuine windows keys, like

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Microsoft-Windows-10-Pro-Professional-32-64bit-Genuine-License-Key-Product-Code/253855612207?epid=22019371517&hash=item3b1af93d2f:g:JqUAAOSw3hJbkfL4

If the problem continues you may have done something to the CPU. Have you ever had any problems like this before the bent pins? also are you trying to overclock?

Oh, so you were bored? Somehow I just don't believe this story. Almost NO ONE takes their CPU out because they were bored.

What's the real deal here?

Any data that has been processed before writing to disk may become erroneous due to faulty CPU, memory or bus/interface, and cause system errors. The same may happen with failing magnetic disks. And my experience tells that you may not detect the errors with any diagnostic tool but stills suffer from corrupt data. I have an AMD Athlon II X3 440 unlocked into Phenom II X4 B40 with no extra working core but with 6MB L3 cache. No tests including P95, IBT, SuperPi, OCCT, Memtest86+ caused any error. During the 6+ yrs of use the Phenom fails only when attempted to run Prince of Persia 2008(the Elika story) but succeeds on relocking into Athlon.

I realize the CPU passed diagnostics however errors like this are what the diagnostics can't test for only stress testing can.

That CPU is garbage, buy a new one.

Now on to the next topic at hand, pirated windows, which is a no no here. Buy yourself a license or download a legit copy from Microsoft and run it unactivated. We will not assist you with a pirated windows installation and so your thread is now closed.
