[SOLVED] My CPU is always running at 100%?

I just recently upgraded from Windows 7 to 10, and all of the sudden my CPU is running at 100% at idle. My temps are looking fine and games are running decently. I upgraded all of my drivers. By the way, my CPU is an Intel 5620K. I scanned for viruses and that still hasn't helped.

It is possible that your PC is running some massive process when you do not use it. For example, if you have many photos, it can dedicate inactive times to classify them.

This is possible if it has recently moved to W10. Try entering the task manager to see which process is consuming CPU.

did you download the ime /chipset drivers for your motherboard for win 10 os?
