My cpu is over heating.

My cpu temp with nothing open is at 65 to 75 and im not sure what i should do. and does this overheating problem slow my gameplay down

What CPU cooler do you have? There's lots of factors that could contribute to overheating, including a bad CPU, but you first gotta check the basics. CPU cooler is properly installed? Case has proper ventilation? Check, and then come back. If everything is fine and the CPU is still overheating, you could try reinstalling the CPU (worked for me one time, but that I think was just luck), or even RMAing the CPU for a new one. Usually its not the CPU, but I've never seen a CPU just randomly overheat.
