hey everyone
So a few weeks ago i bought myself a new pc case and a graphics card. i installed the new hardware, everything was working fine, but the cpu temperature was going crazy. It reaches temperatures of up to 80 degrees, which was normally +/- 45°. When changing the case, i thought it was a good idea to clean the cpu cooler too. it's now clean as never(i accidentally touched the thermal paste a little), is that the reason why it's heating up? or is it thermal paste? I hven't overclocked it, i only have overclocked my gpu.
PC specs:
case: Sharkoon vg5-w green
cpu: intel core 2 q6600 quad core
gpu: Gigabyte geforge gt710
motherboard: asus p5b (yeah, i know)
ram: 6gb
PSU: 400 watts
PS the case has 3 fans, so the airflow is good.
thanks alot for reading this btw
