So I recently bought a FX-8350 for my system but little did I know it would be too powerful for the GPU I have which is the GTX750Ti. So when I'm gaming I can run great settings but not as smoothly as before on an A8-6600K? I know I have to upgrade my GPU soon to something like the GTX970/960 but at the moment I don't have the money so I'm wondering if there is any temporary fix so I can have games run smoothly.

-Thanks

Thank you very much :)

Idk what IPC means but thanks :)

You are most welcome buddy. & IPC means Instructions per Cycle. that is the number of instructions(Data sent to CPU for processing) a core can process for any given time.

This is applicable for programmes with low threading capacity and which can use only 1 or 2 cores at max. Don't bother about it as of now. That's a tech term. No need to dig into it deeply.
