Question my cpu is underperforming big time

i have a ryzen 3600 and user benchmark is telling me it's performing in the 0th percentile and it's even taking a while to load things like youtube, i've tried underclocking it but that just makes it worse. it's running at only 35c so it cant be overheating. can anyone help me ??

And its also safe to assume that you've completed the necessary steps to ensure that all your device drivers are currently up to date. Correct?

ok i've just realised the single core speed is up to scratch but the multi core speed is atrocious, what are the common reasons for this? and yes i have all drivers up to date

How bad are we talking? If everything is normal, multi-core speed should be at least base clock.

multi core speed is more or less same as single core, thats how bad
