My cpu recently got hotter :p

Hello i once in a while try and stress test my cpu and it looks like its getting hotter than usual, last time i check its temperature was in the kinda winter and it was around 20c~ idle and stress testing it was at 60~ max
So i stress tested it again and for some reason it went all the way up to 80c so is it becouse its summer or becouse my cooler
i normally use the h80i (water cooler)
also my cpu is i5 4690k

i like my parts cooled 😛

You can try...

1. Clean the inside of the PC from dust and other particles.
2. Clean the dust filters and fans.
3. Purchase additional fans to increase airflow. Make sure you have positive airflow.
4. Reapply the Thermal Paste on the CPU+CPU Cooler. Use a good quality one, i personally use the Arctic MX-4, a decent option for it's price.

summer and winter can make a huge difference. I can run 4.8ghz in the winter, but in the summer I downclock to 4.3ish.
