My CPU slows down when Rendering.

Hello this is my first time in tom's hardware.My specs are i7 4790k,GTX 760 and 8 Gigs of Ram,Gigabyte Z97P-D3.When Idle my processor is running at 4.4GHz.When I try to render a video or record with OBS it slows down to 2.8-3.2 GHz.I've disabled one option in the BIOS to prevent dropping efficiency but it didn't worked.A little help

Probably temps, since its an i7, 8 cores at 3.x ghz will generate a lot of heat, check your temps, also do you have a stock cooler?

It is very likely that the internals are overheating. I would make sure that the fans and the cooling solution is working.

My CPU is not overheating at all Im using my CM TX3 Cooler I've used before in my AMD system,and temps are just fine.I don't have problems at all with temps.I think it's either my corrupted HDD cause it has 88 percent health and 100% performance but it has bad sectors or my low speed memory 8GB DDR3 1333mhz?What you guys thinking,sry for the bad english.

Memory or bad isn't going to cause the CPU to slow down speed wise. Makes no sense. Either it's thermal throttling or voltage issues.

You don't post your temps, but just because it's the same cooler, doesn't mean anything. Rendering pushes CPU's to sometimes beyond stress-test loads.

Now IT's 4GHz,when I render is the temp is around 65 degrees,on 80-90% load,If I give you a picture of my BIOS will you help me set it up right?

Then it is probably a voltage issue as the temps seem good.

Sorry I am not a voltage expert so can't really help there. If anyone is could you have a look and let the op know if they are normal.
