My cpu speed drops from 4.19ghz to 1.39ghz while playing games!

I've already ordered heathsinks for my mosfets, I just hope it helps!!

MOBO: M5A78L-M LX3
CPU: AMD FX-6300 4.22Ghz

Solution

VRM heatsinks might help a bit, but your board has extremely weak VRMs. You might have better luck mounting a fan to blow air down on the CPU socket area to help keep the VRMs cool.
What are your CPU temperatures running when this drop off happens? I would guess that overall case air flow and the CPU cooler requires attention. More case fans or increasing the RPM of the current fans. And checking the CPU cooler for accumulated dust and increasing the RPM of the cooler fans or replacing them.

sorry i meant 1.39 ghz

everything is cleaned and the temps are mobo is at 52cº and cpu at 43cº

Which CPU and motherboard is this? If this an old AMD FX 8 core CPU paired with a low end 760G chipset motherboard or even some of the lower end 970 chipset boards, then you probably have VRM throttling as those cheap boards don't have the power delivery to deal with the high power draw of the 8 core FX CPUs.

that's why i bought heathsinks for my mosfets

The processor is just fluctuating between the idle core frequency and the turbo speed of 4.2 GHz. The motherboard temp is high at 52 C. My motherboard never gets much over room temperature regardless of what is going on over at the processor. So increasing the air flow through the case is a good idea.

Even when you are playing a game, the load on the CPU and GPU varies depending upon the complexity of the image being displayed. It isn't like a stress test that is 100% all of the time.

If you install CPU-Z or HDmonitor, you will see the core frequency jumping around throughout the day.
