Hey guys my cpu is about 40-45 degrees when idle. But when i play The Crew it reaches up to about 60-66 degrees, the settings are set on high but i still expect the temperature to be bit lower. This is my first build so i dont know anything about temperatures and stuff like that. I made the fan go 100% when the cpu hit 55 degrees. The system is brand new and was built 12.12.16

EDIT: I downloaded minecraft just for fun, and i found out that my cpu temp reached 50 degrees. At 50 degrees the fan is at about 65%.

Parts list.
Case Corsair Carbide 100R Window Edition

Solution
On high load 66 degrees C is perfectly fine for that CPU, it could get even somewhat higher and still be within normal range. It sounds like the cooler is perfectly adequate.
