My CPU Temps Cannot Be Right!

So I decided I wanted to overclock my FX-6100, so I downloaded Prime95 and started a stress test, my CPU has been at 100% load for 10 minutes now and it is only at 40 degrees celsius, WITH A STOCK COOLER???? Does this seem right? Because it doesn't to me. I do have 3 case fans and my gpu fan is running at a constant 65%. (Gtx 650 TI BOOST)

Yes. With a stock cooler. It's 104 degrees F, and that's overheat. Get a better cooler.

what are you using to monitor your temps? perhaps use another monitoring program...

I've heard that I don't have to worry until 80 degrees celsius...

I am currently monitoring it with CPUID HWMonitor. I could provide a screenshot if you'd like.

Try core temp as well and see what the bios says.
