Solution
It could be a false reading. Try another program. It's old so the motherboard's sensors might have busted. Feel around the socket area and if it's actually 80C, it will hurt.

Are you sure you aren't reading thermal margin instead? Core Temp can be configured that way. Also are you reading C or F?

If the temp is true, then your HSF is not mounted correctly.

my processor fan and is running at the maximum speed when it reached 90 degrees.
which mean it's true. and it couldn't go anymore deeper.
i only gave it a dot of thermal paste.
maybe as small as a BB bullet.
should i add more?

ok. i found the problem.
the fan was wiggling while the PC is running.
i tightened it even more.
but even though i've tighten it more than before, it's even still 62 at idle.
is it even normal?
Try using a better quality thermal paste such as Arctic MX-4 also spread the thermal paste over the CPU metal heatspreader and make sure you clean the part of the fan heatsink that is in contact with the CPU and make sure you peel off any plastic coverings that may not have been removed. idle temp should be between 30-40C
