I will try to make this short since it could be long in detail of what happened.

I purchased a use MSI Z87 GD-65 which I believed it started to have issues and no longer would let me boot windows etc.. I diagnosed a lot and thought it was the dimm's but I was not 100% sure.

I ended up ordering a brand new Gigabyte Z97X-SOC (non force model):

because I wanted to get my pc up and running again, which I also ordered a new Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 windforce gpu to compliment the new mobo I purchased.

I also ordered a new noctua NH-D15 air cooler to go with everything (since I just purchased a new I7-4770K)

**So I believe today I found the problem to my msi board which was a bad sata cable to my SSD causing all my headaches and problems. Since I removed the cable and placed a new one in its spot I have had no issues. Should I keep my current motherboard or run with the new one?

The motherboard was $219 but I eneded up getting it for $170, it is not a huge concern for me to get try and get every penny back but I do believe if I return it I will need to pay the shipping back and maybe a restocking fee. Should I run with the new chipset or keep this msi Z87?

Thanks again
