Hope im posting in the right section new to this wonderful site so very helpful anyways here is my current build.
CPU - Intel Core i5-4690K Processor 3.5 GHz LGA 1150 BX80646I54690K
CPU Cooler - Cooler Master Seidon 120V
MotherBoard - Gigabyte GA-Z97X-GAMING 3 LGA 1150 Z97 Gaming Audio and Networking ATX
GPU - Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 Overclocked GDDR5 Pcie Video Graphics Card, 4GB
GPU - Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 Overclocked GDDR5 Pcie Video Graphics Card, 4GB
Memory - PNY XLR8 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600Mhz
Storage - WD Blue 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 7200rpm Internal Hard Drive
Power Supply - XFX 650W TS SERIES FULL WIRED 80+ BRONZE PSU
Case - NZXT Phantom 410 Mid Tower USB 3.0 Gaming Case - Black
Now I plan on switching from the Intel Core i5-4690K to the Intel Core i7-4790K after I ran a few memtest and found I was getting errors about 186 and between 4 each time,
Plan on also switching my ram from PNY to Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz in case the Ram is bad as well.
Also plan on upgrading my monitor to a 1440p one as well, this one exactly
Link
Now my real question is that, would the current CPU Liquid cooler be enough for everything I plan doing or would I need to get a better one? Would I need a higher PSU, would everything go together with the rest of my stuff etc.
Things I don't care about:
SSD
Already plan on upgrading to a 8TB HDD But waiting to transfer my files my old HDD to a portable one to the new one hate to loss my games.
Side Note:
Getting a lot of BSOD and alot of random Web browser crashing, the BSOD have slowed down but I some ever so often. Caused by the same thing ( ntoskrnl.exe ), Thats why I planned on replacing the CPU and both ram before my warranty expires.
So what you guys think?
