[SOLVED] my custom gaming PC build isn't functioning correctly

-windows 10 home n 64 bit
-gigabyte z390 sli gaming motherboard
-i7 8700k intel processor @ 3.7 ghz 6 cores
-evga geforce rtx 2060 gpu
-16 gb ram
-reused power supply
The PC is able to run some games while completely crashing on others, even though all system requirements are met.
my knowledge is very limited so any and all help would be appreciated.

thank you for replying. my computer will be able to run games like mine craft with no problem but when i try to run games like insurgency or Verdun the computer will go black and the fans will start spinning very fast. At this point the computer will attempt to completely restart. most times it will fully start up again but sometimes it will get stuck in a loop of starting up and crashing.

Im not very sure what the make and model is of the psu. it is probably upwards of 10 years old and says PSCI- 500BLK. not sure if any of this helps but thank you.

CX550 would work fine with your hardware. I would reccomend a little higher quality and more efficient PSU if possible.
