[SOLVED] my dedicated gpu is not being detected/used

after the most recent update, i noticed fps dropping in a few gams and when i checked device manager it shows
"Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)"
i had had a similar problem before for which i reinstalled the drivers... but that doesnt seem to be working now.. pls help

Also try removing the driver using DDU. Sometimes just uninstalling isn’t enough to remove corruption.
