My Dell Inspiron 14 5000 series wont open. I tried removing the battery press and hold it for more than 30 seconds then plug the cord yet it wont turn on. What should I do?

With laptops, it's always best to contact the manufacturer. Even if you're not eligible for warranty, they can provide you with a list of instructions on what to do.
When you press the power button, there are no noises at all? Nothing lights up?

Sounds like hardware failure. You may need to bring it to a local tech shop, or contact Dell. They have on-site techs in a lot of locations and may be able to send someone out to you, if need be.
