My dell laptop keeps disconnecting from wireless network

Hello,
i am using my dell laptop with d-link router. it wasworking fine last 2 years. recently it keeps disconnecting from network and it says no network available, whereas thereare morethan 6 network available. is it problem with windows/router/hardware

does the router work fine with a different device/laptop?
can the laptop connect to any other network?
has the laptop recently been dropped?

also: make sure te wireless switch on the laptop is on
