My dell laptop wont recover in system restore

I attempt to do a system restore from several dates, keep getting recovery unsuccessfull, what do I try next ?

You may need to reinstall the OS or do a repair with the Windows disk. It would help to know the reason you need to use System Restore. There may be another solution to fix the issue.

Have you tried to boot your system in safe mode and then try to recover?
most times system recover wont work cus some virus blocks it.
