I had updated windows on my desktop after playing with my new graphics card it was working fine before the update I turned it back on and it wouldn't display. I pulgged my cord into my motherboard and it displays out there

Things I've tried
New motherboard = no change
My old graphics card = same issue
Put my graphics card in my back up computer= works just fine
Reinstalled windows = no change

I have a rTX 2080 founders edition
The 2nd card I tested with was a 1060
My CPU is a i7 7700k

Which Windows Version?

Is the BIOS and windows setup for fast boot option,, or full initialize before boot? Hibernation system enabled or disabled? Same problem booting to safe mode?

What motherboard and power supply?

By clean install, do you mean wipe drive and install from separate media, or Windows refresh reinstall?

I fixed it finally from advice from a different forum here's what I did.

I went into bios settings and fiddled with the display setting to the brink of madness until it worked I have an Asus prime h270 plus motherboard
