My Direct3D acceleration is not available.. help?

i recently bought a new computer with a GeForce GT 430 grahpics card. when i try running age of empires 3 on it i get a error saying my hardware was installed wrong or something along those lines. so when i bring up the directx diagnostic tool it says my DirectDraw acceleration and Direct3D acceleration is unavailable. how do i make it available?
