I have the dh67vr mobo , it supports raid 0,1 and the transfer rate was quite fast few days ago,but the speed has suddenly reduced how do i restore it to the initial speed?

please help🙁

SSD or HDD? What models and how much do you have stored on them? Also anything else of interest... like have you scanned for malware or installed any new programs/experienced a system crash recently. Also did the slowdown appear after an update was installed?

I have WD cavir 500gb HDD type of hard drive and I have nt installed any update till now ,I have disabled installing of updates automaticaly.I have not installed any other component after my hard drive.

Maybe you should try to defragment your hard drive, if you have installed large data in your hard drive for example folders containing 70000 files or more and taking more than 100 gb. When drive is fragmented it reduces the ability of HDD of reading and writing.
OR
You could even try to fix hard drive errors using software like tuneup utilities or system mechanics.
Even sometimes it happens that another program like winrar is running or any software which is running is utilizing hard disk to read and write, enabling the hard disk to read and write or even to respond slow. Perform a full scan of your computer using tuneup or other software in order to fix registry problems, system crashes and other problems.

A drive itself will not slow down mechanically, it still rotates at it's proper speed.

The outer rings of the drive are longer, and will contain more data. When you read or write from them, you will get more data per revolution, thus a higher transfer rate.
The OS starts loading and using the outer rings first. That is why a new drive seems to be a bit faster.

In terms of seek or access times, a full drive will cause the access arm to have to traverse a longer distance than when ther is data on only a few cylinders of a new drive.

Also, a fullish drive may not have contiguous free space available for new files, and will have to put pars in different locations. It helps to defrag drives that are fullish.

If you really want performance, get a SSD.If You are looking at 50x speed in random i/o and 2x speed in sequential.

Well.... I knew that already but I guess it is kind of important to mention it... potentially reduce the internet rumors and all that, regardless well done on the explanation.

If the OP can get back to us on what he's seeing we might be able to help more but it's likely either the normal reduction in HDD speed or a software issue. Waiting for more info!

Look to be very honest the more u fill your hard drive the more slower it becomes. This is the very truth in the world
Same case with SSD.
it does impact your overall system at all you would have notice that.you can comfirm that by defragmenation
rest it's either a tweak or a virus.
