Hi!
I have just recently changed unwillingly over from windows 7, to windows 10.
I didn't think it would matter that much, but after installing all the drivers and such, I found out it would...
I have been using a 42" TV for the past 3 years as the display screen.
Never had any problems with it, until now, it would seem.
After the change, I can almost see the pixels. When I watch movies, it's horrible for my eyes.
Was nothing like this on windows 7.
So, what could be the differing settings between the two, and how can I possibly fix this?

Thanks in advance!

Sounds like the resolution is not correct and is now running lower than what you used to run. Make sure you have installed the best drivers for your GPU.
It would really help to know your motherboard, CPU, and graphics card (if you have one), and also the TV model to know what resolution you should be running at. Also what type of connection are you using to the TV?

I have checked with auto detect utility, and I have the correct drivers.
My Gpu atm is a XFX 390
MB is a MSI 970 Gaming
CPU is a 8350 Black edition.
TV is a Samsung, nothing to really add.
I'm using hdmi
When I was using windows 7, it was best at 1650x1050, now I if i try that i get two inches of black bars on both side of the screen

I used 1650x1050 on windows 7, if I do that now, i get 2" of black bars on both sides of the screen.
Scaling is on.
I've tried almost all of the resolution settings

Well, it was perfect before, and now it's not.
The scaling didn't do anything different btw

First, please refrain from swearing. It's a family forum and swearing serves no purpose.

Where did you adjust scaling? First thing is that first slider on the display properties side. Second, a 42" TV should be capable of either 720p or 1080p. What does it look like if you switch to 1920x1080 if it's available.

Sorry, never thought of the S word as a swearword.
I adjusted it in AMD radeon settings, there wasn't any slider though.
I'm am currently using 1920x1080, and its hurting my eyes.
