First of all, excuse my name and please dont think im not serious. I am.

Hey guys! I have a LG LCD TV monitor (about 22 inches) and a GTX 970 wich is pretty good, but with some games if i set my display to 1920x1080 my display looks non-smooth and weird. It is hard to describe but it is as if my display is not clear? Almost like a TV's display and not a PC-screen (if u know what I mean) its almost asif u can see every single pixel. If i fiddle with my refresh rate it is smooth again but it gets annoying to do everytime i enter a game!
Can this be my graphics card or just my screen that is crappy.
Please someone help me , if been looking for assistance but no one can help me. Ive even asked my half blind mother but that didnt help xD!

Please, guys!

well I don't know what exactly it can be but I use 3 hdtv's for my pc use . asll I know is you got to know what to look for in a tv for pc use cause some work great some not so good some not at all ??

a few things can affect overall quality most TV's in there manual should have pc stuff separate from tv 'stuff like mine lists supported pc timings give me your exact model # and i'll look at it to see how pc is supported on it

like this guy just don't get it

well no not really , but it is worth looking into to see how well it takes a pc . as I said some do way better the others and I was wanting the model number so I could look at the manual and specs

also have you tried different drivers to see if that helps ? like with this amd card . some drivers work better at things then others . like the 14.12 driver gives me a more blurry text then the 13.12 driver that the text on the screen looks perfect and clear ... just because its a new driver don't mean its the better driver overall

it maybe the cord you use to hook up the pc to the monitor for me I find the dvi [card] to hdmi [hdtv] works the best between my computers and hdtv's

a hdmi to hdmi can be ''flakey'' - and vga to hdtv's may not work at all unless supported -- theres a few thing to conceder when you get a hdtv to use as a monitor

when I shop for on I pull up all the specs and manuals and go over them then I see end user reviews on what folks are saying on pc use overall

I don't think lg ever came up for any consideration when I last shopped..

one more thing is if there older games they my not support 1080 and you would have to adjust for that with them
