[SOLVED] My display port cable has no release to press on

How do I take the display port cable out of my monitor? The cable doesn't have any latches on it, it's simply hard shell plastic with the metal plug, it unplugged just by pulling it from my GPU and I cannot remove it from my monitors DP port..

This was bought from Kogan (Xiaomi Ultra wide) and came with this cable. I bought a new cable but ran into this... thanks

SOLVED, CABLE HAD NO LOCKING MECHANISM AND THE PORT WAS JUST REALLY TIGHT AND HAD TO PULL HARD AS FICK
