Question My display won't show anything up until the Windows 10 boot selection screen

Last time I booted up My display won't show anything up until the WIndows 10 boot selection screen.
It stays in sleep mode until the WIndows 10 boot selection screen appears, from then on it's all normal.

Why is this?

Please post your system specs as well as your monitor what make and model etc.

How are you connected to the monitor? The display port or HDMI or the older digital type connections?

For instance my notebook is connected via HDMI so I don’t see any of the boot up stuff until windows is loaded because the notebook can’t put the signal over HDMI until it’s booted and everything goes to the notebook screen

It might just be windows quick boot
