Question My display's color setting won't take effect

So I changed my monitor and after installing all the necessary graphics driver and everything for my device it still won't change the color setting and gamma..I want to lower the gamma a bit since it is kinda blinding and the contrast is bad. I tried using windows's calibrate my display and radeon's software in both instances it won't take effect...Even window's night light won't work

Monitor: Viewsonic VA1931wa
Graphics card : Radeon R5 240 1gb GDDR3

When you go in to the monitors menus you can't adjust settings in there?

sadly my monitor's menu button is broken so I can't do that ...I was wondering if somehow I can fix it through windows ..I've done it on my older monitors but on this one it just won't work and take any effect
