My download speed wont go higher then 1.3 mbs a second, PLEASE HELP ASAP

I use to get 14 mbs but then it went from 14mbs to 1mb back to 14 to 0 and now its at 1 mb constantly making downloading and updating things EXTREMELY SLOW.

Reboot modem and router, if issue still there, contact the ISP

I agree with hang-the-9 - - basic first checks as suggested -- you really should have covered those bases before posting.
