Hi, I rebuilt my pc. But when I booted into windows. My apps werent loading. I was looking at my storage devices and everything looked right. Untill I realised my hdd is called New Volume E. While almost all my apps were on New Volume D. I also realised my dvd writer is called D instead of E. Is this a glitch and is it fixable?
This isnt my boot drive btw. Its the drive I store all my apps and files on.

Put all my parts in a different case, from using a test rig to a legit rgb case. So I need to change the name in disk management? And that would solve the problem? Its that simple?
Yes, that simple.

To change, Right click on the relevant space in Disk Management. You should see an option for 'Change drive letter'

Change D (DVD drive) to Z.
Change E (HDD) to D.
Change Z (DVD) to E or whatever.
