what did you try? firmware up to date? other system tried wit it?

yeah i tried to update the firmware but it doesnt work it tells me to hold down "D & L" but when i do that nothing happens also tried it on my laptop it does not work there either the LEDS still work when i plug the keyboard in but i cant type
