My Dv6000 has no picture, video card needs to be reset?

Hello,
I need to know how to enter the class action lawsuit re: this issue. I thought about trying to do the fix myself, but it seems really complicated, many many screws and wires, and I don't want to overheat and destroy my computer, this could have been avoided by HP but it wasn't and they should pay...

It a 5+ years old laptop. Anyway, did you try an external monitor?

No, it was still well advanced for its time, and no I haven't tried an external monitor, not a bad idea, but there goes the "laptop" part of the DV6000, and I was told it is a very common problem that could have been avoided by HP, and I would like to join the class action lawsuit, any knowledge on how to do this? thank you
