My E6500 laptop can't run higher games

I have a dell latitude e6500 that can play games like garrys mod and cs go with an ok speed. It wont run games like rust and arma 2. would upgrading my laptop to 8gb of ram help run these games?
Specs: Processor Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 / 2.53 GHz
Ram: 4gb
Graphics: NVIDIA Quadro NVS 160M - 256 MB

Not really. Your being hindered by the older dual core CPU at a relatively low clock speed. Not much more performance to be gained by that laptop from a gaming perspective...

No, both cpu and gpu are too weak for games.
